<p>Due to Covid-19 we had to postpone our usual evening activities, but we are delighted to be able to offer a limited number of sessions during this term before the evenings get too dark!</p>



<p>As numbers are limited to 3 per session (due to ongoing Covid restrictions) we are offering places first to new young people and those on our waiting list.</p>



<p>As restrictions have eased over the summer we have been able to run 1:1 outdoor sessions and very small group daytime sessions during the summer holidays, so we are pretty clued up now about what we need to be doing to keep people safe Covid-wise.&nbsp; We have comprehensive risk assessments for small group activities as well as for each activity.</p>

<p>Back in April 2020 we were delighted that we have again been awarded funding by Shared Care Scotland (Better Breaks Fund). When we resume face to face contact again this will cover: our 1:1 and small group work with a number of young people who do not get self-directed support; part funding for our DofE staffing costs (the rest is funded through a grant from the DofE Diamond Challenge Fund); small group activities in a variety of activities – these were due to start 5<sup>th</sup> May but will start them as soon as we can run them safely (watch this space for updates); part funding for a trial over 18s weekend in September; part funding for a Family weekend camp in March 2021 and funding for climbing helmets and a climbing rope.</p>

<p>We are delighted that we are able to re-start 1:1 outdoor sessions with our young people during the next 2 weeks as the first step as lockdown restrictions are eased!
